Shipping policy
At The Barn, we currently ship within New Zealand only.
We use Go Sweet Spot to manage all of our courier deliveries, allowing us to work with trusted New Zealand courier services to get your order safely to your door.
Shipping Rates
- Standard NZ Shipping - Flat Rate $10 (excludes bulky items)
- Rural Delivery - Additional $5 surcharge
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
Bulky & Fragile Items
Some oversized, heavy or fragile items are excluded from our standard flat-rate shipping. This may include furniture, mirrors, artwork, large homewares or delicate pieces.
If you would like to purchase one of these items:
- Select “Store Pickup” at checkout
- Complete your order
- Contact us for a freight quote at info@thebarnqueenstown.co.nz
We will always do our best to find the most cost-effective and safe delivery option for oversized items.
Dispatch Times
We aim to have all orders packed and ready for courier collection within 24 hours on weekdays.
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Estimated delivery times once dispatched:
- South Island urban: 1–3 working days
- North Island urban: 2–4 working days
- Rural deliveries: please allow an additional 2–3 working days
Please note these delivery timeframes are estimates only and can vary during busy periods or due to courier delays outside of our control.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been collected by the courier, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.
Courier deliveries are sent without signature required unless otherwise requested.
Local Pickup
Local pickup from Country Lane Queenstown Retail Village is available and can be selected at checkout.
PO Boxes
Unfortunately, we are unable to deliver to PO Box addresses.
During Sale Periods
Please allow additional processing time during sales, public holidays or busy seasonal periods.
Lost or Damaged Parcels
If your parcel arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of both the item and packaging so we can assist as quickly as possible.
